Celo Rewards Promotion Terms and Conditions

1. Organizer and Program.

The Celo Rewards Promotion (“Program”) is a free to enter reward program organized by Blueboard Limited, an entity organized under the laws of Ireland, with a registered address at The Wilde, 53 Merrion Square, Dublin 2, D02 PR63, Ireland, a subsidiary of Opera Norway AS (“Blueboard” and “we,” “us,” and “our”).

The Program is enabled by default when you start using the Browser (as defined below), however, you may always opt out in the Browser settings section. Within the Program you may earn CELO Tokens (“Rewards”).

2. Agreement and Terms and Conditions

‍These Celo Rewards Promotion Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally-binding contract between you and Blueboard. By participating in the Promotion, you agree that you have read, understood, and are bound by these Terms.  Please read the Terms carefully. You further agree that all decisions of Blueboard shall be final and conclusive. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not participate in the Program.

3. Eligibility

‍The Program is available only for participants in qualifying countries who:

• are adult users (at least 18 years old and/or have full legal capacity) in their country of residence;
• are residents of the qualifying countries;
• own an Android device and use one of the following Opera browsers: Opera Mini, Opera News, or Opera for Android (“Browser”) provided by Opera Norway AS under Opera Norway AS Terms of Service;
• participate in the Opera Rewards Points program; and
• accept these Terms.  

Employees of Blueboard, Opera Norway AS, its affiliates, advertising or promotion agencies, those involved in the production, development, implementation, or handling of these programs, and the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of such employees are not eligible. All local federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law.

4. Rewards

Eligible participants who meet specific conditions explicitly mentioned on the ‘Introducing CELO Rewards in Opera for Android, Opera Mini and Opera News’ blog post page will earn Rewards. Rewards will be earned by participants who first meet those conditions. The number of Rewards and Rewards eligible participants will be announced on the ‘Introducing CELO Rewards in Opera for Android, Opera Mini and Opera News’ blog post page. 

In order to receive the Rewards, participants must meet the eligibility criteria and other requirements explicitly highlighted on the ‘Introducing CELO Rewards in Opera for Android, Opera Mini and Opera News’ blog post page. Rewards will be earned every Monday on a Rewards non-custodial wallet provided by Blueboard under Blueboard Term of Service.

5. Rewards and Requirements

‍Rewards you have earned are subject to the following conditions.       

• Rewards are not redeemable;
• Rewards are not refundable;
• Rewards do not expire.

You will not earn Rewards if we determine in our sole discretion that: (i) you have abused IT systems to perform activities, or affect the integrity, confidentiality, or availability of the Program data in any way; (ii) you attempted to circumvent any of the security mechanisms of the Program; (iii) you did not meet all Program conditions, including but not limited to eligibility requirements.

6.Entry Period

The Program start date will be explicitly mentioned on the ‘Introducing CELO Rewards in Opera for Android, Opera Mini and Opera News’ blog post page and will continue onwards.  

7. Data Processing

‍Please note that Blueboard will be processing your personal data for the purposes of performing this Program. For more information on how we process personal data, please see our Privacy Statement. 

8. Miscellaneous

1. Modifications. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at our discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, altering the requirements, Rewards and Program structure. Any changes to these Terms will be communicated via the MiniPay website or Browser.
2. Release and Limitations of Liability. By participating in the Program, you agree to release and hold harmless Blueboard, Opera, and/or its suppliers from any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever, including without limitation, damages for loss of use, data, or profits, arising out of participation in these programs or receipt or use of any reward or prize. This includes but is not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the programs; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) errors in the administration of the programs or processing of entries; or (d) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation or receipt of any reward.
   
   You further agree that in any cause of action, Blueboard’s liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the programs, and in no event shall Blueboard be liable for attorney’s fees or costs. You agree to indemnify and hold Blueboard, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, and employees harmless from any claim, demand, or damage, including reasonable attorneys' fees, asserted by any third party due to or arising out of participation in the programs.

4. Governing Law and Jurisdiction. These Terms are based on Norwegian law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway without giving effect to any conflicts of law principles that may require the application of the laws of a different country. All actions or proceedings arising under or related to these Terms must be brought in the Oslo City Court, and each party hereby agrees to irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction and venue of any such court.
5. Notice. Users from the UN, FATF, or MAS-sanctioned countries are excluded from participation in this Program without exception.
