What is MiniPay?

MiniPay is a self-custody digital wallet. Your wallet keys are stored securely on your device. They are also automatically backed up to a special locker inside your iCloud account, for ease of recovery.This means that you are the only one with access to your wallet and the funds within it.

Transactions performed in your wallet will be permanently recorded on the Celo blockchain, which acts as a secure and immutable ledger for all transactions you perform. If you wish to delete your wallet, it is important to back it up properly first. This can be done by going to:

Settings → About → Secret recovery phrase

Follow the instructions to create a manual backup of your wallet.

Write down your secret recovery phrase and store it in a secure location.

Remember to never reveal the secret recovery phrase to anyone!

Delete Wallet:

Remove Wallet from Device:

Sign out of your MiniPay wallet on your device by choosing Sign out in the app settings.

This will remove the wallet keys from your physical device.

Delete Cloud Backup:

On iOS:

Navigate to your iCloud Storage settings on your iPhone and find MiniPay in the list of applications.

From here, you can choose to delete all data associated with MiniPay.

On Android:

Navigate to Google Drive → Settings → Manage apps on the desktop site.

Find MiniPay and delete the app data.
