In collaboration with Squid Router, we are introducing a new Mini App to the Discover Page allowing MiniPay users to buy digital gold .Now, users can swap their stablecoin balance for Tether Gold (XAUt0) tokens—and hold them securely in their wallet.
What is Digital Gold?
For centuries, owning gold meant holding a physical coin or bar. This came with challenges: secure storage was risky and expensive, transferring it was difficult, and buying small amounts was often impossible.
Digital Gold is a digital asset that represents ownership of real, physical gold stored in Swiss vaults. Instead of a "gold coin crypto" that might just track the price of gold, an asset-backed token like XAUt0 represents direct, verifiable ownership of the physical metal.
